Wonderful print of a painting of Paris's Notre Dame Cathedral by acclaimed Houston artist David Adickes. 

The cathedral stands nobly in the background. Bright red leaves and a boat passing serenely along the Seine River appear in the foreground. This print was made in the 1960s by Graphic Arts Mfg (Billie and Warren Childers) and was purchased from their daughter. It is inscribed "Artist’s proof for Billie Childers from David Adickes  June 17, 1966". Mr. Adickes has told me that the print is a silkscreen in which successive layers of color were laid. He said he has a few numbers from this series himself. The print is framed by Houston’s famous Dubose Gallery.
