Beautiful color lithograph by the masterful Texas artist Ancel Nunn (1928-1999). 

The Elysian Fields are the abode of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. A rural community near the east Texas town of Marshall also happens to bear the same name.

Signed, titled and numbered 42/100 in pencil. Print appears to be on rice paper.

Frame 33.25" x 26".

The paper has some curving the origin of which is not known but there is no apparent moisture damage. The curving does not affect the aesthetics of the piece as it is not detectable at an ordinary viewing distance. The lithograph has not been examined out of frame.
